you get sucked out so much more often when your afraid of the river, this is one thing I’ve noticed! It can turn into a chain reaction, today happened to me 6 times in a row.

yeah that happens alot many players get the miracle one outer on the river the gut shot straight draw i get frustrated too when that happens but thats poker gotta learn to take the beats

one way i avoid this is to try and keep the pots small picking up small pots here and there is alot safer than going for the big score with one hand

If you really believe that the cards can tell that you are afraid, then you shouldn’t be risking money at anything. If the other players can read your fear and figure out that maybe your hand isn’t all that strong to begin with, so they are getting the proper pot odds to beat you, then you shouldn’t be playing live poker.

If your opponets are playying so that they need that final card to beat you, you will be earning against them in the long run. A lot.

Learn to accept bad beats and suck outs, they will happen at poker to the best of pros.
